Medical Tyranny In Texas

Texas is rapidly changing due to its lax policies concerning illegal immigration. It is quickly becoming an extension of Mexico, politically and socially (Google “changing demographics of Texas,” etc.).

We have already noted that under Texas law (“presumed intent”), your organs can be harvested from your body (obviously, while you are still alive), if you remain unconscious, etc., and cannot be identified within a few hours! Now, notice the latest in medical tyranny in Texas:

The legislation, known as Texas S.B. 303, is sponsored by State Sen. Bob Duell, vice chair of the Texas Senate Committee on Health and Human Services. Duell is a Republican, and the GOP holds the majority in the chamber. The bill has already been approved by the committee…’The problem is that there’s no definition of imminent. There used to be a definition in the law that said your death is considered imminent if you’re going to die in minutes to hours. Now we’ve got some people who say if you’re going to die within six months or you’re going to die within a year, that means your death is imminent. So what this bill is saying, essentially, is that if the doctor thinks that you’re going to maybe die in six months, maybe in a year and they say, ‘We think this is immi nent,’ then you don’t even have the right to try to go somewhere and ask that this Do Not Resuscitate order be lifted…’…Balch said the bill gets worse. Family guardians and surrogates would also be overruled by the doctor’s decision. In addition, the language could also endanger people with nonthreatening conditions if medical professionals determine their quality of life is too poor…”

The bill does not specify whether or not the member of clergy has to know specifics about the patient’s medical conditions or wishes….”

I noticed the word “alum” on my spray deodorant. Long ago, we stopped the general, store-bought deodorants due to the fact that they contain aluminium. This aluminium has been linked to Alzheimers and Dementia (and other problems such as breast cancer, etc.). Most store-bought deodorants also contain propylene glycol (anti-freeze), BHT (another hormone disrupter and nerve disrupter), etc.

Surprise: Alcohol Leads to Cancer

But the new research, published in the British Medical Journal (BMJ), found cancer risks at even lower levels…Cancers of the pharynx, oesophagus and voice box were most commonly caused by alcohol, followed by liver…even more cancer cases would be prevented if people reduced their alcohol intake to below recommended guidelines or stopped drinking alcohol at all…Alcohol creates a chemical when it is broken down by the body which can damage DNA and increase the risk of cancer…”

The “surprise” is pure sarcasm. The Holy Bible teaches that “wine” is a word that can mean fermented or unfermented beverages (“wine” is said to be found “in the cluster” of grapes in Isaiah 65:8).  When wine is alcoholic, the Bible commands people to not even look at it!:

It seems the NAZI’S are still among us, in this Brave New World that dopes up millions of school children with Ritalin, etc. This enriches the drug companies, and it also keeps children “focused” (like any cocaine addict who can play darts, etc. for hours). Once the paddle had been removed from schools, the feminists were faced with a problem. What do they do about the obvious misbehavior now that children have never learned to control themselves? The Junk-Food, Glutton-Nation of Obese Children

God judged Sodom for sins that included “fullness of bread” and idleness (see Ezekiel). It is one thing for adults to be irresponsible with their own bodies; and it is quite another to allow children to learn this behavior and curse their health before they are able to make intelligent choices for themselves in maturity. While we can justly mock the rise of the Nanny State, the fact is that when people no longer govern themselves, it empowers others who argue that they need to be governed. Wake up Christians, and teach fasting, self-control, and wise eating.

Ten Biblical Keys To Physical Health

We must not make an idol out of physical health (1 Timothy 4:8). However, as stewards of God, we have a responsibility to make the most of all that the Lord has placed into our hands, for His glory. Our physical bodies must not be morally defiled, OR physically abused. As Christians, our bodies belong to the Lord (1 Corinthians 6:20).

The Bible teaches much more about how to preserve physical health than many might realize. In this brief article, we will simply point out ten general keys to physical health that our Lord has graciously revealed in the Bible:

1. Repent and abstain from sin! Sin destroys physical health by breaking the natural laws that the Lord has ordained to preserve health:

Proverbs 3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

Proverbs 5:22 His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins.

Jeremiah 2:19 Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.

Romans 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and RECEIVING IN THEMSELVES THAT RECOMPENCE of their error which was meet.

1 Corinthians 6:9 …abusers of themselves with mankind…

2. Sin destroys physical health by bringing down God’s judgment upon the sinner:

1 Corinthians 11:30 For this cause many are WEAK AND SICKLY AMONG YOU, and many sleep.
31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

3. Alcohol (and other addictive drugs/poisons) will destroy physical health:

Proverbs 23:31 Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright.32 At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder…35 They have stricken me, shalt thou say, and I was not sick; they have beaten me, and I felt it not: when shall I awake? I will seek it yet again.

4. In like manner intemperance and gluttony are sins that will destroy health:

Luke 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness…

Proverbs 23:20 Be not among winebibbers; among RIOTOUS EATERS OF FLESH: 21 For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags.

For example, too much of even the healthy, unrefined sugar (as in natural honey, juices, etc.) will cause physical problems (how much more will man-made chemicals such as high fructose corn syrup, refined white sugar, etc. bring us problems?):

Proverbs 25:16 Hast thou found honey? eat so much as is sufficient for thee, lest thou be filled therewith, and vomit it…27 It is not good to eat much honey…

5. Fasting, in holiness, is pleasing to the Lord. It can promote health by detoxifying the body. However, irregular, irresponsible eating (as with those on drugs or alcohol, or those with a lack of self-discipline etc.), or a lack of quality food, will ruin our physical health like bad gas in an automobile. To try to live without nourishment is deadly:

Acts 27:33 And while the day was coming on, Paul besought them all to TAKE MEAT, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing.34 Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for THIS IS FOR YOUR HEALTH: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you.35 And when he had thus spoken, he TOOK BREAD, and gave thanks to God in presence of them all: and when he had broken it, he began to eat.

6. Constantly hearing and/or speaking harsh, cruel, angry words will destroy one’s health:

Proverbs 12:18 There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health.

Proverbs 16:24 Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.

For this reason (among others) the TV and movie theater (where people hear sinful speech, and learn to speak it) are bad for your physical health. Also, the constant beholding of death, darkness, sin, depravity, and foolishness will ruin one’s health:

Proverbs 15:30…a good report maketh the bones fat.

7. Likewise, we must walk in true joy to be healthy physically:

Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

We can rejoice in faith and hope, even in the midst of trials. But if we do not diligently keep our hearts, our joy will be destroyed by sin or evil communications. This is one reason why researchers continue to find that the healthiest people are those who attend church more than once a week (Psalms 73:16-17; Hebrews 10:25). It is the Lord and His Word that will increase our joy, and thus preserve our health. The truth of this ancient Proverb (17:22) is continually supported by modern researchers:

“An examination of the emotions and health of more than 200 middle-aged Londoners – 116 men and 100 women – showed that those who expressed themselves happiest had healthier biological functions.” (http://news.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2005/04/19/nhappy19.xml)

We must understand that our joy is greatly dependent upon our speech (Proverbs 15:23). While we must avoid so-called Positive Thinking, etc., we do need to study and practice what the Scriptures teach about rejoicing, casting our cares on the Lord through prayer and faith, and disciplining our minds to think on virtue, praise, etc. (see Philippians 4:4,8). The nightly, worldly news will likely make you sick – literally!:

Proverbs 12:25 Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.

8. If true joy can bring health, notice that sunlight brings joy (physical sunlight, and spiritual sunlight):

Proverbs 15:30 The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart…

Ecclesiastes 11:7 Truly the light is sweet, and a pleasant thing it is for the eyes to behold the sun:

1 Thessalonians 5:7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober…

Open the windows and get plenty of fresh air and sunlight (with your clothes on).

9. Work (physical exercise) is healthy. God made man to work, even before he fell. After the fall, God has ordained for man to work and SWEAT! (Genesis 3). Paul walked many miles (Acts 20:13). Without work and exertion, our health will suffer. Aside from the obvious problems of inactivity, laziness breeds depression, restlessness and grief:

Proverbs 26:14 As the door turneth upon his hinges, so doth the slothful upon his bed.  15 The slothful hideth his hand in his bosom; it GRIEVETH him to bring it again to his mouth.

10. And while there are many more keys that could be mentioned, the previous key brings us to the final one we will mention in this article:

Ecclesiastes 5:12 The sleep of a LABOURING man is sweet, whether he eat little or much: but the abundance of the rich will not suffer him to sleep.
13 There is a sore evil which I have seen under the sun, namely, riches kept for the owners thereof to their hurt.

We see that good, hard, honest work promotes a refreshing, healing, sweet sleep. Rest (without laziness) is important to health. As in fasting from food, abstaining from sleep (as in prayer, study, or night watches) may be beneficial and/or necessary at times.

Persecution is usually not good for our physical health. That is why we are not to love our lives to the death. But a healthy body is a better sacrifice for the Lord (Malachi 1:13) if we are called to suffer for His name. Therefore, good rest is an important part of our stewardship. We are told in the Scriptures that often riches and cares of this life (i.e. too many oxen), will not allow a man to sleep well. For this reason, a godly simplicity should not be despised; it has more virtues than many realize (Proverbs 15:17). Simplicity allows the working man to sleep sweetly, and heal his body:

Psalms 127:2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.

Let’s get zealous about holy, healthy living, so we can be all that we are called to be in the Lord!

Crisco And Margarine: The Medical Establishment Changes Its Mind

In the 20th century, hydrogenated or partially-hydrogenated vegetable oil (safflower, soybean, etc.) began to be used and praised in America. The public was warned by the medical community and the government to avoid time-tested foods like real butter (Genesis 18:8, 2 Samuel 17:29, Job 29:6, Isaiah 7:15, etc.), etc. “Butter is dangerous for your heart,” we were told. Certainly, pesticides, and cows raised in pens, instead of being grass-fed, limited the nutritional qualities of much that was sold as butter. But at least people were eating a real food. We might also add that there are much healthier things in the universe than pork lard! But at least it was “food.” But then came the scare!

Millions switched to (supposedly) “heart healthy” hydrogenated oils (e.g. margarine, Crisco, etc.). These were imitation foods. Suddenly, almost every packaged product on the shelves contained hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils. Almost every restaurant used them, and even boasted in them: “We use heart-friendly vegetable oil.” Americans could indulge in fried foods without having to worry about unhealthy pig lard. They could now enjoy fried foods at the local diner (fried potatoes, fried sandwiches, fried everything). It was all fried in 100% vegetable oil (partially hydrogenated oil).

The process of hydrogenation was used in 1907 for soaps and candles! But why not use the new, easy-to-make product for food? Crisco was first sold to the public for food consumption in 1911. It was later marketed to “sophisticated women” as the “new thing.” It was the dawning of the chemical, imitation age. And many women were ready to cut off their hair, as well as try the new, imitation, cheap foods. There were no more odors. It was easy to use. And hardly anyone (at least at first) questioned whether the partially hydrogenated oils in Crisco (the trans fats) were healthy. To these women, Crisco made as much sense as the newly invented appliances.

This new product made many “food” companies very happy. They could now fill their products with hydrogenated oils and thereby prolong the shelf-life of their processed foods (i.e. bugs will eat real food, but they do not like to eat plastic!). Housewives were told that these new “fats” were “easy to digest” by the children. Mothers were made to feel that they were not being “thoughtful” unless they jumped on the new bandwagon. Notice a newspaper article in 1922. Watch for the propaganda. I have placed important words in capital letters:

“The fats they need – now easy to digest – what this digestible shortening means to THOUGHTFUL mothers: That ‘hollow-legged’ son of yours! That gentle, shy little daughter! What a glad RESPONSIBILITY is their rearing! We know, for example, that buoyant health, in middle life often depends on childhood food – on mother’s LOVING supervision of the kitchen. DR. ROBERT HUTCHISON (the English AUTHORITY) says that your 14 year old boy needs practically as much food as a grown-up man. But he stresses the need for SPECIAL DIGESTIBILITY in the child’s foods…Many OFFICIAL investigators interested primarily in the health of our American children have made this discovery…So, nowadays, WELL-INFORMED mothers appreciate the importance of DIGESTIBILITY in family foods…In homes where the mother herself keeps a WATCHFUL eye on the family health you will find that CRISCO is displacing less digestible fats. These mothers prefer – because of its digestibility – this vegetable shortening, Crisco. Crisp, easily digested fried foods! Wholesome, delicious cakes, pies and cookies. What a real comfort to bake and to fry with Crisco – free from ANXIOUS DOUBTS about the digestibility of the foods you serve…UP-TO-DATE grocers everywhere take real pleasure in selling this HEALTHFUL food ingredient – Crisco.” (“The Oakland Tribune,” Aug. 6, 1922)

Proctor & Gamble offered a free cookbook that replaced traditional fats with the new Crisco. They used pictures of smiling, happy children, with an open Crisco-tub in the foreground. This is how it all began: Mothers who use Crisco will keep their house smelling fresh; there will be no smoke; it costs less, since you use less; and, most of all, the children will be healthier!:

“[In] New York City…the Bureau of Child Hygiene estimated that 216,000 school children, prosperous and poor alike, were seriously under-nourished.” (“The Oakland Tribune,” May 15, 1922)

And what was the suggested answer for this problem? Switch to Crisco! (And why not “bob” your hair while you are at it? After all, “everyone is doing it!”). It was marketed to sophisticated mothers (i.e. the new generation) as the “prized kitchen companion” (sounds like a devil!). It “stays sweet and fresh,” (“Modesto News-Herald,” January 9, 1926). Indeed, this was another main reason why so many women switched; you could reuse it more than just two or three times (like liquid plastic!).

The worst part of all of this was that the medical establishment (the people who pride themselves on saving the “common people” from quackery and scams) led the way into the jaws of death and disease:

“No one among you – though the picture of health now – can really afford to cook without Crisco. Crisco is HEALTH-VALUE…Crisco itself digests quickly – doesn’t overtax your stomach!…Why Crisco is quick-digesting – recommended by MANY DOCTORS – When you open a can of Crisco it’s like looking at glossy, molded cream. By a MODERN MIRACLE, pure, wholesome vegetable oils are creamed into the lightest, creamiest shortening you can imagine…It stays sweet and fresh without refrigeration!…{IT] SAVES THE FOOD FROM BECOMING FATTENING. DOCTORS KNOW THIS – that’s why they often ADVISE frying foods with Crisco!…” (“The Mansfield News Journal,” March 22, 1935)

Few thought to ask why it does not stay in the stomach for digesting; the answer is probably that none of the millions of critters in the stomach want anything to do with it! Few thought to ask why it stays fresh without refrigeration! It wasn’t really food! (The bugs were smarter than modern humans).

It was not long before there was an epidemic of heart disease in America, as never before. And what did the medical establishment suggest? Did they examine Crisco and margarine? No. They silenced the people who tried to warn the public. And instead of confessing their errors, they suggested that the best way to avoid this new epidemic of heart disease was to, “Eat more partially-hydrogenated vegetable oils and margarine!” Notice the “professional” advice in 1972:

“Most shortenings, cooking and salad oils on the market are lightly hydrogenated because, of the desirability (from the viewpoint of ‘HEART HEALTH’) to replace a good amount of the saturated fats of the diet with polyunsaturated fats.” (“In Defense of the Nitrates”; Long Beach “Independent,” November, 30, 1972)

After millions had died or become ill for many decades, and the information could no longer be suppressed, and lawsuits were soon to arise, many experts began to give new advice:

“Admonished for decades to cut back on saturated fats to lower their cholesterol, millions of Americans made sensible dietary changes that they thought would protect their hearts. They switched from butter to margarine, looked for ‘made with pure vegetable shortening’ on packages of baked and fried products, sought fast foods that were not fried in beef fat and many even gave up eating meat….But now they are hearing disturbing news that margarine may not be so good for the heart after all, that vegetable shortening is even less advantageous than margarine, that at least some of the saturated fat in red meat does not raise cholesterol…It is enough to make a health-conscious person wonder whether to return to the eggs-butter-cream-and-steak diet…In a report this month from the continuing Nurses’ Health Study at the Harvard School of Public Health, frequent consumption of margarine and vegetable shortening was linked to a 50 percent higher rate of coronary deaths…” (“The Mountain Democrat,” May 10, 1993)

“Trans Fatty Acids and Coronary Heart Disease – By the early 1990s it became apparent that the consumption of trans fatty acids (hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated oils) had uniquely adverse effects on blood lipid levels in metabolic studies and was associated with an INCREASED RISK OF CORONARY HEART DISEASE…Many fast foods contain high levels of trans fatty acids, are exempt from labeling regulations, and can even be advertised as cholesterol-free and cooked in vegetable oil.” (“The New England Journal of Medicine,” June 24, 1999 Vol. 340, No. 25)

“In short, trans fats are poisons, just like arsenic or cyanide. They interfere with the metabolic processes of life by taking the place of a natural substance that performs a critical function. And that is the definition of a poison. Your body has no defense against them…Walking down supermarket aisles in America, you find product after product with partially hydrogenated oil – often in products you would never expect. But why not? After all, it’s cheaper than butter. And it’s not illegal. Yet. When you eat out, restaurant breads and fried foods are loaded with stuff. As a result, Americans are consuming soybean oil -partially hydrogenated soybean oil – in virtually everything they eat. It’s no wonder that America is experiencing epidemic levels of diabetes, obesity, heart disease, and cancer…Now, deep frying all by itself is pretty bad. After all, you are applying a lot of heat. But if that heat is applied to a saturated fat, there is a limit to how much harm it can do…For commercial deep frying, though, butter is prohibitively expensive. Things were better when foods were fried in beef tallow and coconut oil, because they had a lot of flavor and the saturated fats aren’t harmed by the heat. In light of this new research, notice how supermarket chains have changed their tune! For example, Kroger now recommends that you beware of many of the products in its store that have hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils:

“Margarine was developed in the late 1800s as an inexpensive alternative to butter. Typically margarine is made from one or more partially hydrogenated vegetable oils (soy, corn, sunflower, or safflower), but it may also contain animal fats. Packaged baked goods, crackers and chips. Most processed foods contain partially hydrogenated soybean, coconut, or palm oil. Vegetable shortening…Among the most important dietary changes in protecting arteries from atherosclerosis is avoiding foods that contain trans fatty acids (margarine, some vegetable oil and many processed foods containing vegetable oil). Increasingly, the importance of avoiding trans fatty acids is being accepted by the scientific community. Leading researchers have recently begun to view the evidence linking trans fatty acids to markers for heart disease as ‘unequivocal.’…Margarine consumption is linked to increased risk of unfavorable changes in cholesterol levels and heart disease. This is amazing advice! But it is not quite as amazing as the new advice given by the American Heart Association:

“Effective Jan. 1, 2006, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requires food companies to list trans fat content separately on the Nutrition Facts panel of all packaged foods…This labeling requirement applies only to packaged food products, NOT FOODS SERVED AT RESTAURANTS. However, it is important to note that the FDA is extending the trans fat deadline for those companies who seek a petition. Therefore, consumers should be aware that just because they do not see trans fat on the label of the product, does not mean that the product is trans free…Trans fat (also called trans fatty acids) is formed when liquid vegetable oils go through a chemical process called hydrogenation, in which hydrogen is added to make the oils more solid. Hydrogenated vegetable fats are used by food processors because they allow longer shelf-life and give food desirable taste, shape, and texture…The majority of trans fat can be found in shortenings, stick (or hard) margarine, cookies, crackers, snack foods, fried foods (including fried fast food), doughnuts, pastries, baked goods, and other processed foods made with or fried in partially hydrogenated oils. EVIDENCE SUGGESTS that consumption of trans fat raises LDL (‘bad’) cholesterol levels and lowers HDL (‘good’) cholesterol levels, CAUSING THE ARTERIES TO BECOME CLOGGED and increasing the risk of developing heart disease and stroke.” (http://www.americanheart.org/presenter.jhtml?identifier=4776)

And there you have it! Quietly, with no apology, they simply tell you, “By the way, make sure that you don’t take the advice that we professionals have been bombarding you with for many decades. It will kill you!”

Meanwhile, even many hospitals feed their sick patients this “life-giving,” “healthy, creamy margarine! (After all, it keeps the customers coming back, doesn’t it?):

“Trans fatty acids, also known as trans fat, is an artery-clogging fat that is formed when vegetable oils are hardened into margarine or shortening. It is found in many other foods besides margarine and shortening, however, including fried foods like french fries and fried chicken, doughnuts, cookies, pastries and crackers. In the United States, typical french fries have about 40 percent trans fatty acids and many popular cookies and crackers range from 30 percent to 50 percent trans fatty acids. Doughnuts have about 35 percent to 40 percent trans fatty acids…Trans fat is known to increase blood levels of low density lipoprotein (LDL), or ‘bad’ cholesterol, while lowering levels of high density lipoprotein (HDL), known as ‘good’ cholesterol. It can also cause major clogging of arteries, type 2 diabetes and other serious health problems, and was found to increase the risk of heart disease. Many food companies use trans fat instead of oil because it reduces cost, extends storage life of products and can improve flavor and texture…” (Dr. Joseph Mercola, “Trans-Fat: What Exactly is it, and Why is it so Dangerous?”)

“Investigators reviewed medical and dietary data from more than 84,000 women who did not have diabetes, heart disease or cancer when the study began in 1980. Results show that intake of total fat, saturated fat and monounsaturated fat found in nuts, seeds and avocados did not influence diabetes risk. But a 2% increase in calories from trans fatty acids RAISED THE RISK BY 39%…(American Journal of Clinical Nutrition June 2001;73:1001-1002, 1019-1026)…Believe me, folks, you do not want to mess around with trans fats. They are one of the worst things that you could be eating, no matter how good they taste.” (Mercola, “Trans Fats, NOT Saturated Fats, Increase Diabetes Risk”)

“Both primate and human studies have shown inappropriate handling of blood sugar; trans fatty acids decrease the response of the red blood cell to insulin, thus having a potentially undesirable effect in diabetics. The primate research was initiated at Maryland in collaboration with the U. S. Department of Agriculture and the National Institutes of Health, and the human research is from the University of Pittsburgh and quite recent…Recent research from outside the U. S. has indicated that trans fatty acids interfere with reproductive attributes and of concern is the finding that trans fatty acids lower the amount of cream (volume) in milk from lactating females in all species studies including humans, thus lowering the overall quality available to the infant. The latter research was done at Maryland by my colleague Dr. Beverly Teter…Dr. Ancel Keys had originally claimed that the partially hydrogenated vegetable oils with their trans fatty acids were the CULPRITS IN HEART DISEASE. This was in 1958, and the edible oils industry was very swift in their squelching of that information; they shifted the emphasis to ‘saturated’ fat and started the phony attack on meat and dairy fats.” (Dr. Mary Enig Interviewed By Richard A. What is the moral of all of this? The moral is that we should always trust our Bible – even when it speaks about physical health and food! If the Bible says an egg is good (Luke 11:12-13), then it is good, regardless of what the medical community thinks about it! If Jesus ate butter as a child, and the Bible speaks of it as a good thing (Isaiah 7:15), then it is certainly good for us. We should, of course, make sure that these foods come from healthy animals that have not been abused, poisoned or fed chemicals, blood or trash. But the foods themselves are good, regardless of what the doctors or scientists teach.

There are many Christians that will laugh at scientists who teach that we come from monkeys. But any scientist who teaches that Bible foods are in themselves bad for us should be rejected in the same manner. At the same time, we must beware of marketing hype, and be sure to read labels and understand them (yet we must know that sometimes these food companies have been given freedom to lie on their labels).

The Bible is true on every subject upon which it speaks, whether it is geography, science, astronomy, history, nutrition, health or salvation! And when “science” disagrees with the Bible, you can be sure that you are dealing with “science falsely so called” (1 Timothy 6:20). It should be immediately rejected. The so-called wisdom has probably been purchased in order to make more money to the hurt of millions of people (1 Timothy 6:10).

I am not at all preaching down to the generation of my fathers who were raised on Crisco, margarine, high-fructose-corn-syrup (things outlawed in many other countries of the world), white sugar and white flour, etc. I also grew up on most of these things. It saddens me to think of those who have already passed away, as well as my dear brethren who are already sick, or who are getting sick. My point in this it may not be too late to change, and have some productive years added to our lives. And we should learn that we cannot trust the medical establishment and the “authorities.” Anyone who says that we can trust them needs to explain why the people of America were indoctrinated for 80 years with advice to give up their wholesome foods and replace them with imitation foods that these same professionals now tell us will give you diabetes and heart disease! Where is the apology? Where is the national outcry? Men have become too passive. Our forefathers at the start of the 20th century were led to believe that professionals would do the thinking for them in many areas. They left the thinking to women, and abandoned their leadership roles. And the women were puffed up with pride by the marketers who crept into houses with their soap operas and advertisements. They made the women feel that it was all up to them – and that to save their homes, they MUST listen to the professionals. Therefore, Granny’s butter was thrown out, and Crisco replaced it. The Bible was thrown out, and Dr. Spock’s psycho-babble replaced it (i.e. “spanking only creates rebels”). Finally, once the women were led to abandon their homes, the family’s nutritional health was left in the hands of fast-food restaurants and pre-packaged, card-board products, filled with hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated oils, chemicals, dyes, refined sugar or fructose, etc. But maybe it was all a great conspiracy to keep from having to pay out so much social security to the baby-boomer generation.

Prepare For Radiation With Natural Iodine In Foods

“A United Nations forecast of the possible movement of the radioactive plume coming from crippled Japanese reactors shows it churning across the Pacific, and touching the Aleutian Islands on Thursday before hitting Southern California late Friday. Health and nuclear experts emphasize that radiation in the plume will be diluted as it travels and, at worst, would have extremely minor health consequences in the United States…”

God will soon destroy those who destroy this earth (Rev. 11), and not only is mankind destroying the earth by his wicked sins, he is also destroying it by his continual manipulation of God’s creation.

Now we have nuclear fallout with radiation spewing forth everywhere. And if not this time,  and this may be a sign of the future, since more terrible storms and earthquakes are coming, and also there will be wars and rumors of wars, etc.

When radioactive, toxic iodine is released, and it is breathed, it can accumulate in the thyroid gland, damaging the thyroid and causing cancer, etc. (this shows the insanity of using radiation to kill cancer!).

The idea behind taking iodine is so the thyroid will “fill up” with the good iodine so it will not take in the toxic iodine. The thyroid needs iodine to make hormones.

Iodine pills can be harmful. Americans have gone pill crazy. And when things are isolated away from their natural foods and forms by the drug companies, they will always have destructive side effects.

For example, notice the “side effects” and warnings by Anbex for their Iosat (Iodine pill):

“Take potassium iodine (KI) only when public officials tell you…Too much KI may INCREASE the chances of side effects…You should not take this drug for longer than you are told…Possible side effects include: swelling of the salivary glands, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach ache, fever, headache…allergic reactions can include: skin rashes…swelling…fever with joint pain…trouble breathing, speaking or swallowing… [Iodine] may cause over-activity of the thyroid gland, under-activity of the thyroid gland, or enlargement of the thyroid gland…”

Always remember, these are the side effects that have been legally forced to admit. In the above warnings they are careful to say that taking more than 1 pill in a 24 hour period may INCREASE the dangers of side effects (carefully implying that you may receive side effects if you only take 1 pill). They also admit that the thyroid can be damaged from taking this iodine, even if you are not allergic.

So what is the answer? Pray, and then fill up your iodine need with iodine rich foods. Fish (sea),  fish oil, yogurt, raw milk (especially from grass fed cows), are very rich in iodine. It is also found in eggs, strawberries and beans (navy, etc.).

Kelp and other sea vegetables have very large amounts (too much) of iodine, but they also usually have other toxins – much more than fish.

Eating healthy foods will also help protect other parts of the body. Iodine tablets alone will offer no help to the harmful effects of radiation on other organs, etc.

Organic Food And Church Attendance

There are many important things we can do to promote physical health. For example, we can rejoice in the Lord (Prov.17:22). And we can be sure to thank God for our food (1 Timothy 4:3,4). Many overlook the fact that God said every creature is good IF it is received with thanksgiving. How often Christians tend to ignore the “IF’S” of Scripture! Maybe this is why many are unhealthy. They sit down to eat and forget to give thanks. But I am convinced there is also another reason that many people get sick too easily in these last days. I believe our immune system is weakened by the antibiotics and other chemicals in our food. After quite a bit of reading on the subject, I decided to test it by eating only organic in our home. Our immune systems appeared to immediately grow stronger once the daily dose of antibiotics and other chemicals were not invading our bodies. The Lord then moved to open up the doors for our family to eat this way without increasing our food budget.

The Bible teaches that we are to assemble ourselves together and exhort one another more and more as we see the day approaching:

Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

This “day” is the day of the Judgment Seat of Christ which occurs at the Lord’s appearing. The Bible predicts that times will grow increasingly perilous as the Second Coming draws nearer (2 Timothy 3:1). We should certainly gather together morning and evening on the Lord’s Day. But we also need a mid-week time to gather together to refresh ourselves in Christ. In between these times, any small gatherings for soul winning, prayer, etc. are also helpful in keeping saints awake and on fire for God. It seems the Devil is doing all he can to keep Christians from getting this necessary fellowship in these last days. It is sometimes the Lord’s will that a believer become temporarily sick as either a chastisement or a testing (1 Corinthians 11:30, Job 2:7). Yet, sometimes Christians are sick contrary to the Lord’s will. In other words, sometimes it is no more the Lord’s will that a believer be sick, than it is the Lord’s will that a believer sin. For example, the Lord no more desires a Christian to be sick from a hangover and miss church than He would desire him to get drunk to begin with! He often permits people to receive the fruit of their own ways:

Proverbs 5:22 His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins.

Proverbs 14:14 The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways…

It is not always willful rebellion (i.e. gluttony, lust, intemperance, etc.) that causes Christians to be sick under the Lord’s permissive will. Sometimes it is simply a lack of knowledge or information. For example, a young man (never trained by parents or school in basic nutrition) that eats nothing but junk-food-cinnamon-rolls for breakfast, lunch and dinner for a year, should not blame God if his immune system is weakened and he ends up terribly malnourished and afflicted! Along this line, I believe that the Devil is getting the best of many Christians today in the area of sickness. He perhaps brings a flu or a stomach virus into a church and it spreads like wildfire and wipes out one family after another for a week or so. This occurs again and again. It is true that many are too quick to lie in bed on the Lord’s day and forsake church instead of missing work; however, many end up missing work and church. And the more they get sick, the more they are tempted to miss church instead of risk losing their jobs.

I do believe the Devil is indirectly behind this whole scheme. He knows that Christians do not need to miss church. It is dangerous in these last days. It is not just the preaching we need to hear. We also need the praise and worship. The joy of the Lord is our strength! We also need the refreshing and convicting power of the Holy Spirit as He is present in the assembly of believers. This is my theory. I have tested it extensively before presenting it to you. I have read about it over the years; but I was never willing to test it. It always seemed too difficult or expensive. But the Lord always helps us when we step out in faith. And I believe whether or not our families are continually sick IS an issue of faith.

I once read an older book called “The Poisons In Your Food” by William Longgood (1975). Back then he wrote:

“Feeding antibiotics and tranquilizers to other meat animals is practiced almost universally in this country. Chickens and turkeys are dipped in antibiotics to increase their shelf life; and only recently the FDA gave permission for antibiotics to be fed to milk cattle…The most powerful substance given to meat animals is the artificial sex hormone…High-level shots of antibiotics also are given to cattle for ‘shipping fever.’…A scientific symposium held in 1967 estimated that more than 2.7 million pounds of antibiotic food supplements are used annually in the U.S. (New York Times). Several speakers at the symposium warned that the widespread use has led to increased resistance to the drugs…Antibiotics are given to dairy and beef cattle, poultry, lambs and swine; they are used to put on cheap weight, boost production, treat disease, prevent disease, and as a preservative; they are used on FRUITS and VEGETABLES to prevent blight and bacterial disease, and as ‘medicine’ for sick food plants…The ‘Journal of the American Medical Association’ assured its readers that when fowl was preserved in an antibiotic dip, cooking destroyed ‘more than 99 per cent’ of the drug. Stated another way, it might be said that even after cooking some residue remains…It is known that antibiotic residue has appeared in 5 to 12 per cent of all milk samples tested by the FDA.”

That was then. But more recently, “The Washington Post” reported:

“Antibiotic-resistant bacteria are common in American meat, and the microbes survive in the human intestine for a week or more, where they could potentially be the source of drug-resistant infections in people. Those are among the conclusions of three studies published in today’s New England Journal of Medicine…Antibiotics are routinely given to chickens, pigs and cattle to prevent illness and to promote growth. The drugs are put in feed or water in concentrations below that used to treat infections. The practice, while commonplace, is controversial because it encourages the emergence of antibiotic-resistant microbes. In 1998, the European Union prohibited the use of antibiotics as animal growth-promoters if the drugs are similar to ones used in human medicine. Numerous groups are pushing for a similar ban in the United States…The FDA is convinced there are risks posed by at least some agricultural use of antibiotics…”

The New York Times reported:

“Studies Find Resistant Bacteria in Meats – Antibiotic-resistant bacteria are widespread in commercial meats and poultry and can be found in consumers’ intestines, researchers are reporting. The findings suggest that many food-borne illnesses will not respond to the usual treatments, and that some cases may even resist all current drugs…The overuse of antibiotics in human medicine has also contributed to the emergence of antibiotic resistance, experts say…This year, the Union of Concerned Scientists, a nonprofit group based in Cambridge, Mass., estimated that 26.6 million pounds of antibiotics are administered to animals each year, with only 2 million pounds used to treat active infections; the rest is used to prevent infection or promote growth. Three million pounds of antibiotics are used in people each year…The third study was conducted at Statens Serum Institut in Copenhagen, with 18 healthy volunteers. It was designed to test how well antibiotic-resistant bacteria from meat survive in the human digestive tract. Twelve volunteers ingested antibiotic-resistant organisms from chicken or pork, and six ate antibiotic-susceptible strains from chicken. Afterward, the same strains were isolated from the volunteers’ stools for up to 14 days, indicating that both the antibiotic-resistant and antibiotic-susceptible bacteria survived the trip through the digestive tract and were able to multiply there.”

Aside from the fact that dangerous diseases may be spawned, what does it do to our immune system over time to continually ingest small amounts of antibiotics? Simply ask the doctor what it will do to our immune system to take a small amount of prescription antibiotics every day. It is obvious that it will weaken it! Complicating this problem of small amounts of antibiotics in our food, many doctors claim that antibiotics are over prescribed by their fellow physicians. Robert S. Medelsohn warns:

“Growing microbial resistance to antibiotics may ultimately set medical treatment back to the position it held before penicillin was introduced more than 40 years ago…Unless doctors change their behavior and become rational and cautious in the use of antibiotics, we may see the day against which one Nobel prizewinning scientist warned. Professor Walter Gilbert, a Harvard chemist, said, ‘There may be a time down the road when 80 percent of infections will be resistant to all known antibiotics.’ Why do so many doctors prescribe antibiotics for colds, influenza, and other viral conditions that these drugs won’t cure? They tell each other that they do it because their patients want them to.” (“How to Raise a Healthy Child…In Spite Of Your Doctor”, 1984)

The best defense against infectious disease is to strengthen our own immune system. Diet is certainly important. The Bible warns against too much of even healthy sugar (Prov.25:16, 27). It warns against “excessive” (i.e. “riotous”) meat eating (Prov.23:20). Yet, Jesus ate meat (Luke 22:8, John 21:12). Therefore, one of the main reasons for weakened immune systems is not that people are simply eating meat; it is the fact that they are eating foods (meat, fruits or vegetables) that contain antibiotics! If traces of antibiotics are showing up in our food, then this is the number one reason that the immune system of each person is growing increasingly susceptible to attack – increasing our dependence on more prescription antibiotics – which, in turn, promotes the whole cycle all over again. It is hard to completely break free by simply using herbs or colloidal silver to fight the next flu (although this certainly helps). The only way to build up the immune system (and thus completely break free from the Devils’ trap) is to only eat food that is 100% organic – the way God made it – the way it was meant to be eaten. Without the small doses of antibiotics constantly assaulting us, the body begins (with exercise and a reasonably healthy diet) to grow stronger in fighting infections. And every time an infection is resisted, the immune system grows that much stronger. The greater number of people in our churches that eat this way, the more consistent the attendance will be. The more consistent the attendance, the more encouragement, conviction, warning, etc. people will have against sin in these perilous times (Hebrews 10:25). Some will claim that it is impossible to eat organically (i.e. the way all people ate food until modern times) unless one is rich. But this isn’t exactly true. For those without the time or room to plant a garden or raise chickens, there is a “co-op” in or near almost every city. Organic food can be purchased in bulk at a very low price. The money saved in bulk foods will allow you to purchase meat from health food stores (if you cannot find an individual to purchase it from). Let it be noted that I am not calling for tougher government restrictions on our food supply. I am exhorting the PEOPLE (especially preachers, heads of households, etc.) to become more informed and involved in regard to what they eat, and to teach others. For if our immune systems are weakened, we will be unnecessarily sick and will not be able to attend church. If we continually miss church, we are in danger of becoming SPIRITUALLY anemic.

She says its criticism for people who tend to over-medicate hyperactive kids. But she says she did not share her opinion in class. Ausburn says she is trying to get her job back, claiming that her first amendment rights were violated…”

Good for you Tarah Ausburn. And shame on the school who fired you. Placing children on speed and cocaine and such like so they will sit still and “concentrate” is insanity. The Bible says the nations are mad. It is a prophecy. Maybe this is because they grow up, never facing reality; never learning to control themselves, but always using drugs as a crutch. When my generation grew up, ludes and black beauties had to be secretly obtained. Now they are given out by parents and school nurses, and such like. The names have changed, but the drugs are pretty much the same. And all of this is what happens when people reject God’s ways. Because the PADDLE is gone from home and school, the DRUGS have been brought in to replace it. And you can bet the drug companies (PUSHERS) are behind the propaganda that is picked up my silly feminists to promote all this. And here we have an apparently rational school teacher on this issue. Good for her.
